Hiking at Artists Point!
Welcome to my website! I’m a Data Scientist at the Allen Institute for Cell Science in Seattle working on representation learning for cell biology. Our work focuses on uncovering the design principles of how cells are organized and function, leveraging deep learning and computer vision to build interpretable representations of 3D cellular structures. My primary areas of interest lie in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Computational Biology.
In 2024, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle. At UW, I was primarily advised by Prof. Linda Shapiro at the GRAIL Lab and worked on multimodal and contrastive learning for large histopathology datasets. I also collaborated with the BioNLP Lab on developing robust representations for OCT-IR imaging data. As part of a capstone industry-sponsored project with Radius AI, I worked on implementing NeRFs for custom datasets. During the summer and fall of 2023, I interned at Alpenglow Biosciences, solving the neural style transfer problem for histopathology.
I also briefly worked at the Ubiquitous Computing Lab, focusing on the noninvasive measurement of vital signals using MMWave Radar for physiological sensing.
I completed my Undergraduate Thesis (2022) focused on optimizing adversarial learning at Spectrum Lab, Indian Institute of Science with Prof. Chandra Sekhar Seelamantula. During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jora Gonda and Prof. Krishnan CMC.
In 2022, I graduated as salutatorian from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, India, with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science.
Thank you for checking out my website. Please feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions or require further information.
